2019 Fall Pickup Party

Dean's List members were treated to a very educational demonstration with West Coast Falconry at our Fall Pickup Party. These birds of prey provide a natural way to keep small pest birds, like starlings and finches, out of the vineyard. Members also had the chance to participate with the birds of prey like Don Diego, a Sonoran Harris hawk, by him flying glove to glove. Chef Eric Magnani does it again. This time with a slow roasted local whole hog, autumn greens, tomato and sourdough panzanella, grilled squash and peppers and roasted yukon gold potatoes.

2019 Spring Pick Up Party

For our Spring Pick Up Party, our members tried their hand at crafting the perfect blend. Winners received signed large formats, including a 6L bottle! Blossom Catering Company catered the party with trout roe cornets, crispy pork belly, saffron arancini and wood fired pizza. A special thank you to all the Dean's List members that attended. We look forward to seeing you next time!

2018 Fall Pick Up Party

Dean's List members toasted to another great year at the Fall Pickup Party. The wines flowing included 1856, Sauvignon Blanc, Southworth Chardonnay and Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon. Members were also engaged into how our 1856 Cabernet Sauvignon came about by Phil and Morgan Lamoreaux. Wylder Space catered tasty eats like their house cured and braised pork shoulder sliders and whole jerk chicken with baby potato salad and braised green beans. Hog Island Oyster Co shucked their fresh sweetwater oysters from Tomales Bay and Bodega Bay and Supreme Sweets provided three different cookies for those with a sweet tooth. Raffle prizes included complimentary hotel nights at our partnering hotels and Tiffany & Co. wine openers and tickets to the Napa Valley Film Festival.

Napa Valley Film Festival 2017

Admist the fires, there was a lot of support by the local community and then some to make the 2017 Napa Valley Film Festival a success. We upped our game in participation and partnership this year and hosted three events at our winery. The first being Friday night's Vintner Circle Dinner. Winery favorite, Chef Eric Magnani, prepared an amazing three course meal that included the beautifully crafted Thai Coconut Pumpkin Curry in mini pumpkin. Saturday afternoon we hosted NVFF's first ever Rising Star Showcase. Six young and talented actors shared their time in a moderated panel discussion enlightening the attendees on what it's like being an actor today in the entertainment industry. Cousin's Maine Lobster Truck served up some tasty lobster rolls and tater tots while Materra and Trujillo Wines provided topnotch wines. We closed out the film festival with the Wrap Party on Sunday evening. From delicious tacos by PICO modern taqueria to keeping the crowd caffeineted with Ohm Coffee Roasters, it was a fun-filled evening with live music and cheer. 2017 Fall Pick Up Party

Our Fall Pick Up Party was a success! Very talented music by David Ronconi filled the air while Dean's List members enjoyed new releases of the 2016 Chardonnay Reserve Southworth and 2013 Cunat Reserve as well as our Libraried 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon Hidden Block. Chef Eric Magnani prepared delicious savory bites and Supreme Sweets provided sweet treats. With no rain present, the day was sunny complimented with the fall crisp air. Our winemakers were present to showcase special sneak peek barrel tastings of what's to come for our 2016 vintage of After Midnight (Malbec) and Reserve Diamond Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon. We also raffled off some prizes from our Dean's List Partnered Hotels, The Hampton Inn, Brannan Cottage Inn, Southbridge Napa Valley, and Vintage House as well as our raffle of our custom-designed BAGGU tote, bottle of 2014 Midnight, etched wine glass set and cat pin. 10 Year Anniversary Harvest Party

We celebrated 10 years of winemaking on August 26th with Ring of Fire, The Rusty String Express, Sonoma Photo Booth Company, friends and family. Cecilia Senocak graciously captured memories from the evening.

2017 May Bottling

It's that time again. Bottling! We carefully transferred wine from barrel to bottle and hand bottled magnums. The photos and video also shows part of the printing process for the labels. It takes quite a team to make that one bottle of wine happen!

2017 Annual Blending Event

Another successful blending session happened this past weekend and we can't wait until we can share the finished product. Especially two new wines that have never been produced before. We were very impressed with how the 2015 red wines were tasting as this was the kickoff year to harvest and then crush at our winemaking facility.
