Harvest is among us!

We picked the first of our grapes and it was Viognier! The Sauvignon Blanc is usually the first to be harvested, but the Viognier decided it was its turn. Picking began bright and early around 5:30am. The fruit was supple and sweet. Here are a couple of pictures and more to come as harvest continues!

May 2016 Bottling - Chardonnay, Right Bank, Cunat Reserve

A couple weeks back we bottled our 2015 Chardonnay as well as our 2014 Right Bank and Cunat Reserve. May also marks one year of us opening the doors! We've come a long way, but there is still lots to be accomplished. We can't wait to share with you the development of our wine adventures.

2016 Budbreak at Cunat Family Vineyards

Happy Spring! We've received some much needed rain the past couple of weeks. Budbreak also started in the valley and at Cunat Family Vineyards. Only time will tell how the crops will be this year, but we're hopeful!

Harvest 2015 at Cunat Family Vineyards

We are excited to share some amazing moments during our inaugural crush at Cunat Family Vineyards and Winery. The harvest crew and production team (including our harvest interns!) worked long days and hours and we can't thank them enough for all their hard work to make it a success. This marked one of the earliest harvests ever and even though there were low yields, the quality wasn't compromised. We can't wait to share the fruits of our labor.

+POOL Fall Swim Gala 2015

+POOL, co-founded by designers Dong-Ping Wong, Oana Stanescu, Archie Lee Coates IV, and Jeffrey Franklin, is a project that will dually function as a floating public pool and water filtration system in New York City's East River. Friendly to families and competitive swimmers alike, the Olympic-sized pool will filter over 500,000 gallons of river water everyday, releasing notable amounts of swimmable water into New York waterways. As every Californian knows, access to clean water is a prevalent local concern, but it is also a mounting global crisis. We support +POOL and their forward thinking initiatives.
